You guys should know by now that I am no stranger to reading. Lately, I have gotten into some young adult series.
It was a few years ago that I read the Divergent series by Veronica Roth. My friend told me it was similar to some other books that I had recently read and she thought I might like it. Well, she was right. I did. I love that the lead character is a strong, heroic and unique female who listens to her heart and stands up for what she believes in and also stands up against the injustices in her world.
My son is just starting his way into the series and once he was done reading Divergent, we watched the movie. He was so impressed. I love that these movies are not just for young adults. My 8 year old daughter loved the movie just as much as we did. We are all excited for the next installment, The Divergent Series: Insurgent, to be released on March 20, 2015. I am thinking a movie date with my two favorites is in order.
Are you a 3D movie goer? I will admit, usually I am not but with The Divergent Series: Insurgent being released in 2D, Digital 3D, IMAX® 3D and RealD™ 3D, I am thinking now is the time. Check out the trailer above. The intense stunt work and gorgeous visual effects are going to be super exciting in 3D!
